§ 60-4908 Applicability of act.

This law applies to lawsuits about silica or asbestos claims. If someone files this type of lawsuit on or after the date the law took effect, these rules apply to their case.

If a silica or asbestos claim was filed before the law's effective date, this act does not apply to it. The timing of when the lawsuit was filed determines whether these rules cover the case.
