Plain-English Summary (for reference only — not a substitute for the rule text above)
This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
This rule sets up how the prisoner review board handles its work. The board does not need all its members present for every hearing. Instead, the board can pick one or more members to hold hearings on its behalf, which makes the process faster and easier to manage.
The rule also says the secretary of corrections must give the board the staff and accounting help it needs to do its job. This means the board gets support from the corrections department to handle paperwork, finances, and other administrative tasks, so it can focus on making decisions about cases.
