§ 22-4611b Community advisory boards; establishment, cities, counties.

City councils and county sheriffs have the choice to set up a community advisory board that works alongside their local police or sheriff's department. Cities need to pass an ordinance (a local law) to create this board, while a county sheriff can establish one directly.
