IX, Sec. 19 AOC authority to implement the Office of Language Access

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) runs the Office of Language Access, which helps people who need interpreters or translation services in court. This rule gives the AOC the power to create additional policies or procedures for how that office operates day to day.

The AOC Director is the one who authorizes these extra policies. This means the Director can set up more detailed rules beyond what's written here, as long as they relate to running the language access program.

For someone involved in a court case, this rule mainly explains who is in charge behind the scenes. It does not change your rights to an interpreter or language services. Instead, it just confirms that the AOC has the authority to manage and adjust how those services are put into practice.
