XIX, Sec. 4 External audits

Every year, the AOC (the office that handles court administration and finances) has to hire an outside company to check its financial records. This process started with the 2021 fiscal year. The AOC asks companies to submit proposals for doing this audit work, rather than picking one on its own without any competition.

Once the audit is done, the AOC has to share the results with the public. This means anyone can see how the AOC is managing its money and whether the audit found any problems. The goal is to keep the court system's finances open and accountable to the people it serves.
