XX, Sec. 9 Successful completion of a family recovery court program

If someone finishes every phase of a family recovery court program, they are considered to have successfully completed it. This is the main goal for anyone taking part in the program.

Once a person meets all the requirements laid out in Section 6, the judge handling the related family court case (like a case involving neglect, abuse, or dependency) can decide what happens next. The judge can either dismiss the case completely or handle it in a more informal way. This can happen if both sides agree, or after the judge holds a hearing to review the situation.

Finishing the program successfully also means the person is eligible to graduate. Graduating is a formal recognition that they completed everything the program required of them.
