4.14 Counterclaim disclosed allowed

If someone is examined under Rule 4.13 and it turns out they have a counterclaim, the court can deal with that counterclaim right away. This means the judge can look at the counterclaim, decide what it's worth, and include it as part of the final judgment in the case.

In simple terms, this rule saves time and avoids extra court hearings. Instead of making people file a whole new lawsuit for a counterclaim that comes up during questioning, the court can settle it on the spot and factor it into the final decision.
