12.74 Preference--Abolished

This rule gets rid of a previous rule that gave certain criminal cases special priority for scheduling. In the past, some cases may have been allowed to jump ahead of others on the court's calendar. This rule ends that practice.

Now criminal cases are handled without giving automatic priority based on this old preference system. This means cases move through the court process based on other scheduling rules, not because of a special preference status that used to apply under the prior version of this rule.
