4.280 Certification of commission order; permanent file

When the Judicial Conduct Commission decides to suspend, remove, or retire a judge, it has to keep official proof of that decision on file. The chairman or secretary of the commission signs off on a certified copy of the order to confirm it's accurate and official.

This certified order, along with the commission's written findings, conclusions, and the full record from the case, gets placed in a permanent file. This creates a lasting, official record of what happened and why the commission made its decision.
