3.365 Notice of appeal

If you want to appeal a Trial Commissioner's final report in a disciplinary case, you need to act fast. You have 30 days from the date of the final report to file your notice of appeal.

Your notice of appeal must clearly state who is appealing and which report you are appealing from. This information needs to be spelled out by name, not left vague or implied.

You also need to file this notice in the right place. It goes to the Disciplinary Clerk, following the process laid out in SCR 3.290. Missing the deadline or filing it incorrectly could cost you your chance to appeal, so it's worth double checking that you have the right names and the right filing location before the 30 days run out.
