3.440 Disposition of case

When the Supreme Court makes a final decision in a case, the normal rules about asking for a rehearing still apply. This means a party who disagrees with the outcome can still ask the Court to take another look, just like they could in any other appeal.

Once the Court issues its final order or opinion, the Clerk's office has to send a copy to everyone involved in the case. This includes all the parties, as well as Bar Counsel and the Director, who are officials involved in attorney discipline matters.

The rule also says these final decisions get published, just like any other opinion the Supreme Court issues. This keeps the process open and lets others see how the Court ruled and why.
