Art. 1005 Persons subject to proceedings

Any parent can be brought into these court proceedings, no matter how old they are or whether they're married. Age and marital status don't matter here. A teenage parent, for example, has just as much standing in the case as an adult parent would.

This means the court treats all parents the same way when it comes to their legal ability to take part in these cases. A parent's rights and responsibilities in the proceeding aren't reduced or changed because they are young or unmarried. The law makes sure that every parent, regardless of their personal circumstances, can be included and held accountable in the process.
