Art. 1102 General applicability

This rule says that most of the standard laws in the Children's Code still apply, even in this section. Think of it as a reminder that the rules you'd normally follow for cases involving kids don't disappear just because a new section of the law comes into play.

The only exception is when this specific part of the law says something different. If a rule here spells out a different way of doing things, that specific rule takes priority. Otherwise, everything you'd expect from the regular Children's Code rules still holds true.
