Art. 1105 Recordkeeping generally

Each juvenile court must keep separate files for cases involving children, apart from other court records. These files are organized and indexed using the child's name so they can be found later if needed.

These records are not open to the public like regular court files. They can only be shared or looked at in the specific situations spelled out elsewhere in this law. This helps protect the privacy of children who are involved in juvenile court cases.
