Art. 1168 General applicability of other Children's Code provisions

Unless a specific rule in this section says otherwise, all the other rules in the Children's Code still apply.

This means that when courts handle cases under this particular Title, they don't throw out the rest of the Children's Code. Judges, lawyers, and families should assume that the standard rules, procedures, and protections found elsewhere in the Children's Code continue to apply, unless a rule in this specific Title clearly changes or replaces them.
