Art. 1502 General applicability

This rule simply says that the regular rules in the Children's Code still apply, unless a specific section says otherwise. Think of it as a "default setting." If a certain part of this Title gives a special or different rule for a specific situation, that special rule takes over. But if there's no special rule mentioned, the standard Children's Code rules are the ones judges, parents, and lawyers must follow.

This matters because it keeps things consistent. People involved in a case don't have to guess whether the normal rules still count. Unless the law clearly states an exception, the everyday rules of the Children's Code are still in force and can be relied on.
