Art. 693 Notice

Everyone involved in the case must get written notice at least 15 days before a case review hearing takes place. This includes all parties and their lawyers. The notice must state the date, time, and place of the hearing.

The notice has to be delivered and documented the same way a petition would be served. This means there needs to be proof that each person actually received it. This step can be skipped if the court already told everyone about the hearing date in person during an earlier court session.

This rule exists so no one gets caught off guard by a hearing they didn't know about. If you're part of a case, you should either get a written notice in the mail or hear about the next hearing date directly from the judge while you're in court.
