Art. 699 Evidence

When a case is being reviewed, the judge or review body looks at all the evidence both sides bring forward that actually relates to the case. This means parents, children, or other parties involved can present information, documents, or testimony to support their side.

However, the judge doesn't have to accept everything at face value. If evidence seems unreliable, repeats information already given, or is being used just to slow things down, the judge can limit how much weight it gets or even keep it out entirely. This gives the judge control over keeping the process fair and moving at a reasonable pace.

In practical terms, this means you should focus on bringing evidence that is trustworthy, adds something new to the case, and is presented in a timely way. Evidence that duplicates what's already been shown or seems aimed at delaying the case may not help your position and could be limited or rejected by the judge.
