Art. 829 Cancellation of bail bond

When someone posts bail for a child in a juvenile case, that bail bond stays in effect until the court says it's no longer needed. Once the case reaches a point where the bond no longer serves any purpose (for example, the case is over or the child's obligations under the bond have been met), the court must cancel the bond or release whatever security was put up.
