Art. 889 Disclosure of resulting evaluation report

If a child goes through an evaluation ordered by the court under Article 888, the results don't stay hidden. Once the report is finished and given to the court, copies must also go to the district attorney and the child's attorney.

This means both sides get to see what the evaluation found. The district attorney can review it while handling the case, and the child's lawyer can look it over to protect the child's interests. Neither side is left in the dark about what the report says.
