Art. 1453 Objection to irregularities in notice; waiver

If you get a notice that someone's deposition is going to be taken, and you think there's something wrong with how that notice was given (like it was sent too late, or it's missing information it should have), you need to speak up right away. You do this by sending a written objection to the other side as soon as possible.

If you don't object quickly, you lose your chance to complain about it later. The law treats your silence as acceptance, even if the notice really did have mistakes in it. This means you can't wait until the deposition happens, or even later in the case, and then suddenly argue that the notice was flawed. Once the deposition is done, it's generally too late to raise these kinds of complaints about how you were notified.

The lesson here is simple: check deposition notices carefully as soon as you get them. If something seems off, put your objection in writing and send it to the other party without delay. Waiting too long means giving up your right to challenge it.
