Art. 2128.1 Depositions

When a deposition becomes part of the appeal record, it doesn't have to be printed the normal way. The court allows the pages to be shrunk down so that up to four pages of testimony fit on a single physical page. This helps cut down on the amount of paper needed for the appeal.

Courts also have the option to accept depositions in electronic format instead of paper, as long as they approve of the format being used. This gives more flexibility in how the deposition gets included in the case record, whether that's a condensed paper version or a digital file.
