Art. 4363 Security instead of mortgage

If a parent wants to buy property instead of putting up the regular mortgage described in Article 4362, they have another option. They can provide security or set up a special mortgage instead, following the same process used in Articles 4132 and 4133.

Whatever option they choose, the amount has to match the full price paid for the property at the sale. This gives parents some flexibility in how they protect the transaction financially, but it does not lower the amount they need to secure. The value still has to line up with what was actually paid.
