If you're going through this type of small tutorship proceeding, you'll pay less in court costs than you would in a larger tutorship case. Specifically, the costs are cut in half compared to what a larger tutorship would cost.

However, there's a limit on how low these costs can go. No matter how small the case is, you'll still need to pay at least $100 in court costs. So even if half the normal fee would come out to less than $100, you'll still owe the $100 minimum.

This rule helps keep costs more affordable for smaller tutorship cases while making sure the court still collects a baseline amount to cover its expenses.
