Art. 104 Employment of expert assistants

When a coroner is investigating a death or performing an autopsy, they don't have to do all the work alone. They can bring in expert helpers to assist with the investigation or the autopsy itself.

This makes sense because coroners often need specialized help. For example, they might need a toxicologist to test for poisons, a forensic specialist to examine evidence, or other experts with skills the coroner doesn't have. The rule simply confirms that coroners have the authority to call in this kind of outside expertise when they need it to do their job properly.
