Rule 4.0 Court Reporters

Every court proceeding held in open court must be recorded word for word. This means the judge's office has to set up some way to capture exactly what is said during hearings, trials, and other court sessions. This could be a court reporter typing everything down, an audio recording, or another recording method.

This matters because it creates an official record of what happened in court. If someone wants to appeal a decision later, or if there's ever a dispute about what was said or ruled, this recording proves what actually took place. Without it, there would be no reliable way to check what happened during the proceeding.
