Rule 45.0 Informal FINS Process

If a child's FINS case (Families in Need of Services) is being handled informally, without going through a full court hearing, the court can still require regular check-ins on how things are going. When the court asks for this kind of monitoring, whoever is keeping track of the case must send an update to the court every month.

This keeps the court informed about the child's progress even though the case hasn't been formally decided. It also makes sure the situation doesn't get ignored or forgotten just because it's being handled outside of a normal court process. Families involved in this kind of case can expect that someone is checking in on their situation on a regular monthly basis.
