Comm. R. V Answering Complaints and Responding to Repetitive, Vexatious, Threatening or Abusive Communications or Complaints.

When someone files a complaint with the Commission, they will get a written response. The Commission can include extra comments or explanations in that response if they think it will help, as long as sharing that information doesn't break confidentiality rules set by the Louisiana Constitution or the state Supreme Court.

There is an exception to this rule. If someone sends complaints or messages that are repetitive, harassing, threatening, or abusive, the Commission staff does not have to respond. This means people can't force a response by flooding the Commission with the same complaint over and over, or by using threats or abusive language to get attention.
