Rule 7.110 Motions in Circuit Court Appeals

When you are appealing a case in circuit court, you follow the same rules for filing motions that apply in most other civil cases under MCR 2.119. You can also file certain special types of motions listed under MCR 7.211(C).

Once a motion hearing is held, the judge must make a decision within 28 days. The only exception is if there is a good reason to take longer.
