Rule 8.101 Applicability of Administrative Rules

These rules cover every court in Michigan. That includes district courts, circuit courts, the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court.

Unless a specific rule says otherwise, all Michigan courts must follow these administrative rules. There are no courts in the state that get to skip them.
