Rule 18.2 Jury Information

Before jury selection starts, both sides in a criminal case get a list of the people who might serve on the jury. This list includes each person's name, address, job status, occupation, employer, whether they live in the area, education level, past jury duty experience, and whether they've been convicted of a felony.

This information helps both the prosecution and the defense make informed decisions when picking jurors. Lawyers use these details to ask better questions during jury selection and decide who might be fair for their side of the case. The judge can also order that even more information be shared if needed.
