Rule 7.03 Circuit Court Budget Committee: Established

7.03.1 | Effective Date. There is hereby established as of January 1, 1981 a Circuit Court Budget Committee which will succeed the Interim Circuit Court Budget Committee formed pursuant to Supreme Court Orders of August 28, 1978 and November 13, 1979. 7.03.2 | Membership. The Committee shall be comprised of 13 circuit and associate circuit judges and one circuit clerk. This Court shall appoint all Committee members. 7.03.3 | Terms of Members First Appointed. Of the Committee first appointed, four (4) members shall serve from January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1981; four (4) members shall serve from January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1982; and five (5) members shall serve from January 1, 1981 through December 31, 1983. 7.03.4 | Terms of Subsequent Members. Upon expiration of the terms of the Circuit and Associate Circuit Judges first appointed, the terms of Committee members shall be three (3) years. 7.03.5 | Chairperson. The Chief Justice shall appoint the chairperson of the Circuit Court Budget Committee from the Committee membership. 7.03.6 | By-Laws. The Circuit Court Budget Committee may draft and adopt by-laws governing its operation. 7.03.7 | Subcommittees.The Circuit Court Budget Committee may appoint subcommittees to aid in the operation of the Committee.
