Rule 2.3 Payment without appearance

If you get a traffic ticket in Nevada, you don't have to go to court to deal with it. You can simply pay the fine, and the court clerk has to accept that payment without requiring you to show up in person.

When you pay, the court might ask you to sign a form. This form says you're giving up your right to fight the ticket in court and that you're admitting responsibility for the violation.

Once you pay and sign (if asked), your case is considered closed. The court treats this as a final decision, meaning the matter is officially resolved and you won't need to deal with it again.
