Rule 11 Payment and Waiver of Filing Fees

When you file documents electronically in Nevada courts, you need to pay any required filing fees at the time of filing. You can pay using whatever payment methods the court's electronic filing system accepts.

If you qualify for a fee waiver, you won't have to pay these filing fees even when filing electronically. To get a waiver, you still need to follow the normal steps required by law and court rules, like filling out the right forms explaining why you can't afford the fees.

The courts must post their filing fees online so anyone can see them before filing. If you use an electronic filing system, it should also give you a copy of the fee schedule when you sign up or start using the service. This way, you know upfront what you'll be charged before you file anything.
