Rule 23 Facsimiles

This rule deals with signatures on foreclosure mediation paperwork in Nevada. When documents from the Foreclosure Mediation Program need to be filed with the County Recorder, a faxed copy of the Administrator's or District Court Judge's signature can be used instead of the original.

This means the County Recorder's office does not need a physically signed document with wet ink. A faxed signature counts just as much as an original one. This makes the filing process faster and easier, since documents don't have to be physically carried around or mailed just to get an original signature on file.
