If a lawyer wants to get paid for work done on a guardianship case, they have to ask the court for those fees through a written request. This rule says that request cannot be a secret between the lawyer and the court. Everyone who is legally entitled to know what's happening in the guardianship case must be told about the fee request.
The people who get notified are the ones listed under Nevada's guardianship laws, specifically NRS 159.034 and NRS 159.047. These are usually the protected person (the one under guardianship), family members, and other interested parties who have a right to stay informed about the case.
The rule also explains how this notice can be delivered. Regular first-class mail is good enough. The lawyer doesn't need to hire a process server or use certified mail. A standard letter sent through the postal service meets the legal requirement for telling people about the fee request.
