Rule 48 Majority Verdict

In Nevada justice court, civil trials use a jury of four people instead of the larger juries you might see in other courts. This rule says the jury does not need all four people to agree on a verdict.

If three out of the four jurors agree, that counts as the jury's official decision. The fourth juror can disagree, but it will not stop the verdict from being valid. This makes it easier for juries to reach a final decision without needing everyone to agree.
