Rule 35 Support personnel

Short trials are set up to run without extra court staff. You won't see a bailiff or court clerk helping out during these proceedings like you might in a regular trial.

The one thing the court does handle is jury selection. On the day of the trial, the court administrator or someone else assigned to the job will make sure a group of potential jurors shows up so the trial can move forward.

For anyone going through a short trial, this means the process is more streamlined than a typical courtroom setting. Fewer staff members are involved, but the court still makes sure jurors are available when needed.
