Rule 209 Expenses of board

Board members don't get paid for the work they do. However, if a member spends their own money on things they need to do their job on the board, they can get that money back from the board.

This means volunteering for the board won't cost members money out of their own pocket. Things like travel costs, supplies, or other necessary expenses tied to board duties can be reimbursed, as long as the spending was actually needed to do the job.
