If someone testifies against you during your bar examiner hearing, you have the right to respond. You can challenge what was said or give your own explanation to clarify the situation.

This means the board can't just hear negative testimony about you and move on without letting you speak up. If needed, they'll even hold an additional hearing so you have real time to address the concerns. This gives you a fair chance to defend your side of the story before any decisions are made about your application.
