Rule 7.5 Judicial regions

Nevada divides its courts into five regions to help organize the state's judicial system. Each region is made up of specific judicial districts grouped together based on location.

The Sierra region covers courts in the first, third, ninth, and tenth judicial districts, but does not include Nevada's appellate courts. The Washoe region is made up only of courts in the second judicial district. The North Central region combines the fourth, sixth, and eleventh judicial districts.

The South Central region includes the fifth and seventh judicial districts. Finally, the Clark region covers courts in the eighth judicial district, again not including the appellate courts.

This grouping matters mainly for administrative purposes, like organizing judges, court operations, and other official business across the state. If you have a case in Nevada, this rule helps explain which region your court falls under, though it does not change how your case is handled or decided.
