Rule 96 Local bar associations

This rule allows lawyers to form local bar associations in their communities. The state board of governors is supposed to support and encourage these local groups to organize.

However, local bar associations can't create their own rules that conflict with the Nevada Supreme Court Rules. The statewide rules always come first. So while local groups have freedom to organize and set some of their own guidelines, anything they decide must line up with what the Supreme Court has already established.
