Rule 3:7-1 Entitling of Papers

When you file papers in a criminal case that starts with an indictment, every document must be labeled as belonging to the Superior Court. This applies to the indictment itself and anything filed after it.

This is a basic formatting requirement. It helps the court keep track of which court the case belongs to and makes sure all paperwork is organized correctly.
