Rule 5:9A-1 Title of Action

When someone goes to court to become a kinship legal guardian of a child, every document filed in that case must have a specific title at the top. That title must say "Kinship Matter of" followed by the child's name.

This applies to all papers filed in the case, not just the first one. Using the correct title helps the court keep track of documents and connect them to the right case.
