Rule 8:1 Scope: Applicability

The Tax Court has its own set of rules that everyone must follow when they have a case there. These rules are found in Part VIII of the New Jersey Rules of Court.

If you are involved in a tax dispute in New Jersey's Tax Court, these are the rules that apply to your case. Other general court rules may also apply, but Part VIII is the starting point for how things work in Tax Court.
