Rule 41 Appeal Information Statement

When you are the person appealing a court decision in North Carolina, you have a task to complete before you turn in your written argument (called a brief). You must fill out an Appeal Information Statement on the North Carolina appellate courts' website at https://www.ncappellatecourts.org.

This form must be submitted online before your brief is filed. Think of it as a required first step in the appeals process.
