Rule 31 Facsimile Transmission

Documents that don't need to go through the clerk of the supreme court can be sent by fax instead. These are called administrative documents, meaning anything that isn't part of the official court filing process.

If you have paperwork that falls into this category, you don't have to mail it or drop it off in person. Sending it by fax is an accepted option. This can save time when you need to get something to the court quickly.

Keep in mind this rule only covers administrative documents. If you're filing something that needs to go through the clerk's office as an official court record, faxing it won't work for that purpose. You'll need to check separately on how those documents must be submitted.
