Rule 1 Title and Authority
Rule Text
(a) Title. These Rules shall be known as the NMI Rules of Alternative Dispute Resolution.1
(b) Authority. These Rules are promulgated pursuant to Article IV, Section 9(a) of the NMI Constitution.2
(c) Scope.
(1) These Rules shall apply to all civil actions except small claims actions and family law matters.
(2) These Rules shall not apply to criminal actions, actions under the Holdover Tenancy Act, or judicial reviews of agency actions.
