Rule 22 Suspending Rules

The Supreme Court has the power to set aside these attorney discipline rules in a specific case if it needs to speed things up or if there's another good reason to do so. The court can make this decision on its own, or a party involved in the case can ask for it through a motion.

There is one important limit, though. The court cannot suspend a rule if doing so would end the case simply because someone missed a deadline. This means deadlines that could shut down a disciplinary case still have to be followed, even when the court is willing to bend other rules to help things move along.
