To start a civil lawsuit in the Superior Court, you simply need to file a complaint. That single act, filing the complaint with the court, is what officially begins your case.

This means there's no other paperwork or extra step needed to kick things off. Once your complaint is on file with the court, your lawsuit has legally started, and the process moves forward from there.
